Postpartum Support International (PSI)

If you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or anything in between, you don't have to figure it out alone — and you definitely don't have to pay to find support.

Postpartum Support International (PSI) is a non-profit that offers resources related to pregnancy and postpartum for families across the world. It's one of the first places I point clients and colleagues toward, for a few reasons.

They have an enormous library of resources. Whether you're trying to understand what you're feeling, looking for information on a specific diagnosis, or just want to know you're not making it up — PSI's library of resources and information about the perinatal season is a genuinely good place to start.

They can help you find a provider. Their directory of perinatal providers makes it easier to find someone trained specifically in this work, wherever you're located.

And most importantly — they offer free support, period. PSI facilitates a myriad of free virtual support groups for all kinds of parents in all kinds of situations related to pregnancy and postpartum. Groups for NICU parents, loss, birth trauma, military families, dads, LGBTQ+ parents, and more. No cost, no waitlist, no diagnosis required to walk in the door.

If you're in a hard postpartum season — or even just an uncertain one — PSI is a solid place to land.
